Jay was born and raised in Canada. He has over 30 years experience doing hair. In 1995, he moved to California to work for the Global Artistic Director of Paul Mitchell Systems, Robert Cromeans. He spent over the next 12 years working and training to become a Master Stylist.

Jay spent several years traveling throughout the United States as a Platform Artist for Paul Mitchell. He also taught as a Guest Artist  at Paul Mitchell The School.

In 2007, Jay became an Independent Stylist at Salon Ink. As the salon grew, he helped teach classes to the new assistants. Helping them become Hairstylists.

After 14 years in Mission Hills, Jay was invited to join the Park Salon in University Heights by his Friend/Owner of the salon, Leslie.

Jay specializes in women’s hair from long to short. He is also known for his sexy blowouts.
