Born and bred in Kaneohe, HI, Leilani always had a passion for the art of hair cutting and coloring. After deciding to turn her addiction into a career, she began her journey into the beauty industry in 2007. Leilani was initially trained in Honolulu by skilled Sassoon and Wella stylists, solidifying a work ethic based on attention to detail, precision, and consistency. Shortly after graduating she relocated  to peruse her career in San Francisco, training under an Aveda master stylist for two years. 

    Craving the sunshine and a laid back vibe closer to her roots, she found her permanent home  here in San Diego, CA. Here she worked & learned under top Paul Mitchell master stylists, continuing to evolve and fall deeper in love with hair and the connections made with her clients. In 2015 Leilani took the leap of becoming a small business owner and joined the team at The Park Salon.

     Leilani believes you should never stop learning and loves teaching her clients what's new in the world of hair, as well as how to work with & appreciate the hair they were given. The world of color is her playground & natural blondes, seamless color melts, & vibrant reds are her specialties. She stands firm that there is nothing more gratifying than helping someone feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin!

     When she's not in the salon you will find her pursuing her other passions...Reading, yoga, hiking, video games, music, & creating varies forms of art.
